Film critic Rajeev Masand to be questioned by Mumbai Police on Sushant Singh Rajput suicide

Noted film critic Rajeev Masand is all set to be questioned by Mumbai Police in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput suicide. It is being said that Rajiv Masand had written many negative articles about Sushant. There are reports that Rajiv gave negative ratings to Sushant's films at the behest of some people. Masand had been at the receiving end of criticism from netizens after several of his blind items allegedly targeting Sushant.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. The Mumbai police have questioned over 35 people in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput as of now. The police have recorded statements of several Bollywood personalities in connection with the case. Recently, Yash Raj Films Production house head Aditya Chopra had recorded his statement with the police. In his statement, Aditya Chopra had told the Mumbai Police that the production house did not stop Sushant Singh Rajput from working with other filmmakers in the industry. Aditya Chopra was questioned by the investigating team at the Versova Police Station on Saturday (July 18) for over four hours.
