The first glimpse of  Akshay Kumar-starrer Laxmmi Bomb has finally hit the web. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora and Ashwini Kalsekar. Laxmmi Bomb is the remake of 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana directed by Raghava Lawrence, who is also directing the Hindi version. Laxmmi Bomb has already managed to create quite a huge buzz for itself, even amid the lockdown. The film that was originally slated to release on the big screen was put up for a digital release due to the pandemic. This is the first time that Akshay Kumar will be seen essaying a transgender in a film.

The actor, in a social media on Friday morning, revealed that the trailer of the horror-comedy will be released at 12:30 pm. Akshay posted a new still from the movie in which he can be seen posing with Kiara Advani. The film, apart from being a commercial entertainer, also tries to meddle with subjects like gender insensitivity and women empowerment. While announcing the release of the film on the streaming giant back in June, Akshay talked about how Laxmmi Bomb made him a better person in life. Earlier, Akshay  had shared a video on social media, asking viewers to keep the popcorn ready and prepare for the release of the film. The video began with Akshay Kumar, all dressed up in a suit, preparing to watch the film within the comfort of his home. Disney+Hotstar had announced the release of seven big films in June this year, via a virtual press conference.
