Netizens slam Vidya Balan for supporting Rhea in Sushant's death

Rhea Chakraborty has found herself in the centre of controversy after the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor’s untimely death has brought the Chakraborty family under the lens as her brother, father and mother are being probed by the ED, CBI, and NCB. A day back, Vidya Balan questioned the vilification of Rhea by the media on her Twitter account.  The Parineeti actress,  released a statement regarding the same but looks like Twitterati has disapproved the views of the Shakuntala Devi actress. Vidya shared a statement in which she expressed how the death of ‘talented’ Sushant was turned into a circus by the media and expressed how her heart broke for Rhea as she was being vilified by the media even before a verdict was announced in Sushant’s case. 

A number of them called out the actress for supporting the 28-year old actress who has been named the prime accused in the case. Many even questioned that she did not say anything over Sushant’s death and now was backing Rhea. Twitter users went to the extent of calling her a hypocrite and slammed Vidya for not supporting, Sushant's 75-year old father. For the unversed, Aditya Roy Kapur who is Vidya's brother-in-law was once rumoured to be dating Rhea Chakraborty during his initial days in the industry. For the unversed, Vidya is married to producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, MD of Roy Kapur Films and the President of the Producers Guild of India.

@vidya_balan You didn’t say it out loud when things were said about Sushant’s 75 year old father by Rhea and her lawyer. You didn’t utter a word when Sushant’s sister was maligned saying she molested Rhea. Rhea’s every word in her interview was a lie, we have enough proofs.
