Prithviraj Sukumaran tests negative for COVID-19, actor to be in self-isolation for a week

Prithviraj Sukumaran has tested negative for the coronavirus on the Antigen test. The actor took to Instagram to share his rapid antigen test - COVID-19 report. He said that he will continue to remain in isolation for one more week to be "doubly sure." The Lucifer director, was tested positive for COVID-19, a week ago, while he was filming for his upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Prithviraj Sukumaran was filming for his movie ‘Jana Gana Mana’ in Kochi and the team was following all the safety protocols.

However, upon wrapping the schedule Prithviraj Sukumaran and the director of the movie Dijo Jose Anthony were tested positive for the virus. All of them involved in the project and their primary and secondary contacts went into isolation after that. The Kerala State Film Award-winning Best actor Suraj Venjaramoodu was also present at the set but wasn’t tested positive. Earlier, Prithviraj was stuck in Jordan where he was shooting for Aadujeevitham when the coronavirus lockdown was announced in India. Meanwhile, on the work front, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s last theatrical outing was ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’.
