Ram Gopal Varma who turns a year older today celebrated his birthday alone. Recently he took to her Twitter handle and share a video where he could be seen sitting in jail. The video is a metaphorical representation of the current lockdown the entire world is going through. The post was captioned as, "Thanks to Corona i am bringing in my tmrws birthday all alone in lockdown singing happy birthday song to myself please greet me to cheer me." (sic)

On Sunday, while the entire nation light diyas, candles and torches  to take a part in #9pm9minutes initiative by PM Modi.  the ace director shared his video of lighting up cigarette, wrote “9 PM Disclaimer: Not following Corona warnings is far more dangerous than not following government warnings on cigarette smoking”. A week back the 'Shiva' director had joked on Twitter that he was tested positive for COVID-19.
