Ranveer Singh Gets Emotional While Paying Final Respects to Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle; Meets Family (Watch Video)

Legendry singer, Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12, 2026, her demise has come as a shock to entire entertainment industry. On Monday, celebs came and paid their final tribute singer, many of them were not able to control their emotion and break down in tears. From political figures to Bollywood celebrities, many paid their final respects to Asha Bhosle today. Amidst these solemn proceedings, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was also seen getting emotional while paying his final respects to Asha Bhosle.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh arrived at singer's Mumbai residence in the afternoon to pay his final respects. Upon arrival, Ranveer quietly folded his hands and bowed in reverence before Asha-tai's mortal remains. He, too, appeared visibly emotional. As he was about to leave, Ranveer paused and turned back briefly. He made a point of seeking out and meeting Asha-tai's granddaughter, Zanai.


Upon seeing Ranveer, Zanai, too, broke down in tears. Ranveer embraced her, placed a comforting  her, and express condolence. In this moment, Ranveer was once again seen overcome with emotion. After paying his respects, Ranveer appeared teary-eyed, having made time in his busy schedule to attend the singer's final moments. Asha-tai's remains have been taken to the Dadar crematorium for the final rites. Family, relatives, artists, and politicians were all deeply moved by the loss.
