Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge OTT Release Likely to Come After IPL 2026

Dhurandhar: The revenge is getting all the love it deserved and is currently ruling the box office. Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt is getting praised for their amazing acting skills. Fans are now waiting to watch this spy-action thriller on their home screen, but according to reports the wait will be much longer than expected. The film is likely to stream online by mid-may 2026. 

Film directed by Aditya Dhar has emerged as one of the biggest box office success in recent times. Together, the two films have reportedly earned over Rs 2600 crore worldwide. The sequel, which hit theatres on March 19, has performed even better than the first installment and continues to draw audiences to cinemas. 

While the film continues its successful theatrical run, fans eagerly waiting its streaming release. The first film in the franchise is currently streaming on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, having broken records after its theatrical success.

JioHotstar has acquired the digital rights to the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Although Hindi films typically appear on OTT platforms approximately eight weeks after their theatrical debut, suggesting a mid-May release, recent trade reports indicate a potential delay.

"Dhurandhar: The Revenge" is expected to begin streaming on JioHotstar in late May or early June 2026, following the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on May 31. According to Filmibeat, the release date is contingent on JioHotstar's programming schedule. The film's release is strategically timed to avoid conflicting with the IPL's high viewership. The sequel follows Hamza Ali Mazari's ascent in Karachi's underworld, delving into his past as Jaskirat Singh Rangi and his transformation into an Indian intelligence operative.
