South industry's popular actress Sai Pallavi who is known for her dance and versatile acting skills is all set to make her debut in Hindi films. She will be part of EK Din with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. The promos of film are all over internet and fans are excited to see new pair onscreen. Sai Pallavi is gearing up for her Hindi film debut with Ek Din, along with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, and she attended a special promotional event for the film in Mumbai on Sunday (April 26).
Sai Pallavi shared her experience at the musical gathering and was emotional as she felt being surrounded by talented artist. Sai Pallavi said, "I don't know what work I have done, but I felt happy that jo bhi mene kiya, it brings me to a room filled with people who are so talented and I end up being so humbled. Aamir sir is crazy enough to be that emotional in public, but though I love my seats, I sometimes wish that the lights were dimmed so that I can, you know, be more emotional."
Your narrators were unbelievable. Each of you conveyed such emotion and vivid imagery. It was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for everything that has brought you here. God bless you, and may you continue to inspire and touch our souls. Sai credited her journey for leading her to such inspiring creative spaces and expressed gratitude for how her path has brought her to this culmination of talent, something she might not have otherwise experienced. She admitted to feeling both excitement and nervousness as she steps into Hindi cinema.
Thanking Aamir for the opportunity, she expressed her gratitude: "Thank you, Aamir sir, for including me in this movie where I feel so much love. Seeing your face glow when you spoke about love was wonderful. Though nervous about my first Hindi film, it's been a beautiful journey. Thank you to the whole team. Junaid has been a wonderful and obedient co-star; I had a great time working with him. Please forgive my unpreparedness, but I have a lot of love for you all."
Ek Din, starring Junaid and Sai, is a remake of the 2016 Thai film One Day and also marks her Hindi film debut, as she is primarily known for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 1, 2026.
