The judicial custody of Kannada actors Sanjjanaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi have been extended till October 23 by the special NDPS (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) court in Bengaluru. Last month, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru arrested Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjana Galrani in connection with the drug menace in the Kannada film industry. 

NDPS special court in Bengaluru rejected their bail petition and have extended their judicial custody till October 23. According to reports, the CCB officials are yet to complete the investigation and hence the bail has been rejected. Both the actors allegedly had links to peddlers and had consumed drugs at parties.Ragini was arrested by CCB on September 4 and Sanjjanaa was arrested on September 8. Both the actors are lodged in separate cells at Parapana Agrahara Jail. While Sanjjanaa is prisoner number 6833, Ragini Dwivedi is prisoner number 6604. They will remain in the central jail till 23rd of this month.
