In what can be termed as a very noble gesture, one of the fan pages of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs 1 lakh for COVID-19 relief. The fan page on Twitter made the announcement on their page with a caption that read, “Least we could do. Following our idol @iamsrk's footsteps,” A few days ago, Shah Rukh Khan announced seven initiatives for COVID-19 relief. Taking to his Twitter,  he had shared, “In these times its imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family.”

Appreciating his efforts, Aaditya Thackeray recently thanked Shah Rukh Khan on his micro-blogging site to which the actor responded, “We don’t ever have to thank each other during times like these. We r a family. Grateful you are working so hard for Maharashtra and whenever you get alone time...do write a poem or two. Love to you.” Speaking about coronavirus in India, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stands at 2,902. The Union Health Ministry has said that 68 people have died due to the virus.
