On the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's death Kangana Ranaut, who has always been extremely vocal about her views in a 2 minute video said that it was a planned murder. She also lashed out at Mahesh Bhatt for claiming that Sushant was heading the Praveen Babi way.The 'Queen' star said Sushant faced "emotional, psychological, and mental lynching. Kangana revealed that Ankita Lokhande, who has been in a long-term relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput, said that "he could not bear the humiliation and humiliation of socially". Kangana blamed the movie mafia for his death and also lashed out at the media for writing blind items on the actor.

Actor and host Shekhar Suman said that the reason behind death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput was not nepotism , but gangism. Lashing out at Bollywood, the television star said there was a syndicate and mafia operating in the film industry which decided the future of an actor. He also said that he knew the names of Bollywood celebrities who were part of this syndicate, but would not name anyone as he did not have concrete proof against them. Shekhar Suman further questioned Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's reluctance in meeting Sushant Singh Rajput's family. The Tridev star also claimed that the actor changed almost 50 SIM cards within a few months.

Speaking with BollywoodHungama in an interview, Sandip said, “People created a drama out of his death, he did not like such things. I was about to go for a bath after I cam home from the last rites and I got a few phone calls and messaging asking me why I did not invite them to the funeral! I got messages ‘we are powerful people, you have not invited us’. I mean, what goes on in the minds of these people? Shocking!”

She said that Sushant’s psychiatrist has a habit of diagnosing patients with bipolar disorder. The ‘Corporate’ actress also took a dig at filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt over his ‘physical proximity’ with Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
