Sonam, who is exploring a new genre with Blind, about the story of a blind police officer in pursuit of a serial killer has finished shooting for the film in just 39 days in a start-to-end shoot schedule. The film's cast also includes seasoned actors such as Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lilette Dubey among others. Blind, produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh and Manisha W., Prince Nahar and Sachin Nahar, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, will hit the screens later in 2021. 

A Hindi remake of the Korean film of the same name, the shooting of the film began in Glasgow in Scotland in December. The actress took to Instagram story to share a photo of herself showing her bruises she got while shooting Blind. Sonam wrote, "Bruised and battered but raring to finish the last day of this insanely hard but creatively satisfying film @shomemak (sic)."Sonam Kapoor was last seen playing herself in Vikramaditya Motwane's AK vs AK, which stars her father, Anil Kapoor, and Anurag Kashyap in lead roles. Her last full-fledged role was in the rom-com, The Zoya Factor. The Abhishek Sharma directorial venture also features Southern star Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
