In the latest development in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the the Mumbai Police has ruled out any kind of foul play.  The police are now awaiting the stomach wash and nail sample report from the forensic department. Earlier, the post-mortem report had stated that Sushant passed away due to suffocation, asphyxia. So far, over 37 people have been questioned in this case. Dharma Production CEO Apoorva will be questioned on Tuesday. Mahesh Bhatt is currently recording his statement in Santacruz Police Station.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had yesterday said producer-director Karan Johar's manager has also been called to record the statement. If the need arises, Johar himself will be asked to do so, Deshmukh had added. The Mumbai Police have also recorded the statements of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Yash Raj Films (YRF) chairman Aditya Chopra. For the unversed, Rajput 34, was found dead at his residence on June 14, in Bandra. Apparently the Kedarnath actor was undergoing treatment for depression.
