Sushant Singh Rajput's roommate Siddharth Pithani told Central Bureau of Intelligence during questioning that the late actor fell ill after celebrity manager Disha Salian's death. According to a report in Republic TV, Siddharth in his statement told CBI, When Sushant got to know about Disha’s death, he became unwell, after which he spoke to Uday, manager of a company called Cornerstone. This company sent Disha as Sushant’s celebrity manager when Shruti Modi had an injury. Sushant had become very tense after the news of Disha’s suicide on the 9th of June. Because of this tension, he asked me to sleep in his bedroom. He kept asking me for every single information about Disha’s death, I gave him every information."
Siddharth earlier, disclosed that Sushant had fainted after hearing about Disha's death. Disha passed away after jumping off from a Malad high-rise. The Malwani police have registered a case of accidental death for Disha. Moreover, as per a India Today report, Siddharth in his tatement to the ED, said that the Krdarnath actor, became very upset about his name being linked to Disha’s death. Disha served as his interim manager after his old manager got injured.
On June 10, two days after Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had left the house, the late actor told Siddharth to delete old videos.”Sushant’s name was being linked to her death and this led to added tension for Sushant. As asked by Sushant, I deleted all the data about his videos, his songs etc from his hard disk,” he said.In an older interview to Zoom TV, Siddharth had provided more details about what transpired at this time. He said that Sushant kept crying the day he learned of Disha’s death. “His sister was there to take of him that time. She fed him, gave him water. His sister came over the day Rhea left. The following day this incident happened, and that affected him so much. His sister and me were in the same room. We all saw how badly it affected him,” he said. For the unversed, Sushant was found dead at his residence 6 days after the death of his manager Disha Salian.
