While talking to Hindustan Times, Udaybir said, “We knew that scene was important, but we didn’t expect this kind of reaction. I’m still processing it. The fact that audiences picked up that particular line is very exciting.” Actor also talked about to screentime in film, “I had not anticipated the kind of response the character received initially. Like any other actor, I was concerned about my screen time, seeing that I didn’t have a lot of scenes.”
Udaybir Sandhu shared that Aditya Dhar assured him his role, though limited, would be impactful. Sandhu lauded Ranveer Singh's talent and described him as a supportive mentor on set. Recalling a fight sequence, Sandhu was encouraged when Ranveer complimented his energy. Sandhu's performance as Pinda has garnered attention, and audiences anticipate his future projects.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) has surpassed Rs 1,500 crore worldwide after a successful 16-day box office run. The Aditya Dhar-directed spy thriller earned Rs 21.55 crore net in India on its third Friday, bringing its domestic net total to Rs 959.37 crore (Rs 1,148.58 crore gross).

With an additional Rs 5 crore from overseas markets on Day 16, the film's international earnings reached Rs 375 crore, bringing the worldwide gross to Rs 1,523.58 crore, according to Sacnilk estimates. The film joins the ranks of Indian blockbusters like Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Pushpa 2: The Rule, which have also exceeded Rs 1,500 crore globally.
