6-year-old donates her savings for COVID-19 relief in TN

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami on Tuesday appreciated six-year old R. Hema Jayasri for donating her savings of Rs 543 towards COVID-19 relief.

Chennai, April 21 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami on Tuesday appreciated six-year old R. Hema Jayasri for donating her savings of Rs 543 towards COVID-19 relief.

In a tweet, Palaniswami expressed his happiness to note young children growing with an attitude to help others.

Palaniswami wished the Class 1 student Hema Jayasri of Thanjavur district for donating her savings for foronavirus relief fund.

In another tweet, Palaniswami thanked all those who had donated for the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

He said a sum of about Rs 160.93 crore has been received towards Covid-19 relief activities and thanked all the donors.
