, died on Sunday at the Medical College hospital here, said health officials.

With this death, the total people who died in Kerala due to Covid-19 has reached 6.

The woman arrived at Kochi from Abu Dhabi on May 20 and was moved to a private hospital here.

After her Covid test results came, she was immediately moved to the Medical College hospital.

Hailing from Wayanad district, she was battling cancer since 2013 and her condition turned for the worse. She was on ventilator support for the past two days.

Her husband was also tested, but came out negative.
