As February ends, the temperature is rising day by day. The heatwave is making it hard to survive without a fan or AC. Nights are no longer cool, and with the heat comes sweating, thirst, and dehydration. Staying hydrated is now more important than ever. But how much water should you drink in summer? Let’s find out.

Water is essential for our body, and drinking enough of it is important for good health. In summer, we lose more water through sweat, so our body needs extra hydration. Experts say an adult should drink at least 2.7 liters of water daily, which is about 7 to 8 glasses.

Best Times to Drink Water

1. Morning: Drink 1-2 glasses of water after waking up. This helps flush out toxins and re-energizes the body.

2. Before Meals: Drinking a glass of water before meals aids digestion and prevents overeating.

3. During & After Exercise: Sweating during workouts causes water loss. Drink water to stay hydrated and avoid heat-related issues.

4. After Being Around Sick People: Water helps flush out germs and boosts immunity.

5. When You Are Sick: Fever, colds, or coughs cause fluid loss. Drinking enough water helps you recover faster.

6. When Feeling Tired: Fatigue is often due to dehydration. A glass of water can restore energy levels.
