Protests and sit-ins were organized in more than 18 cities across Europe by the members of the Indian community on to express solidarity with the victims of Delhi violence. 

The demonstrators demanded immediate action to be taken against those responsible for the riots. 

Around 1500 people attended the protests, held in cities including Brussels, Paris, London, Munich, The Hague, Geneva, Stockholm, Helsinki, Berlin, Krakow, and Glasgow. 

The death toll in the Delhi riots that shook the northeast part of the capital has risen upto 45.

Over 200 people have been injured and properties worth crores damaged in the violence that continued for four days in north east Delhi after clashes between pro- and anti-CAA protesters took a communal hue.The protesters in Berlin marched towards the Indian embassy, raising slogans against the alleged police atrocities on the victims and inaction by the government.

The protesters also placed flowers in front of the Indian Embassy as a gesture of condolence to the victims.

While the Indian diaspora in Belgium carried out protests despite harsh weather conditions, while the protestors in Glasgow sang Hum Dekhenge song.

The protestors in Krakow wore black to symbolize mourning and resistance.

The Netherland protests saw slogans in English and Hindi, poetry and speeches, a tribute to Shaheen Bagh and reading of the Preamble the Indian embassy.

In Paris, French citizens joined Indians to observe a minute of silence.
