On the eve of the Democratic Presidential candidature debate in Ohio Tuesday night which is the largest in the history of American history, a baker's dozen will stand and try and grab pole position. The polls show Elizabeth Warren is at the top of the poll pyramid with 30 percent while former veep Joe Biden is a close number 2 with 27 percent, Bernie Sanders having fallen off the grid.

Former chief strategist for Barack Obama and regular TV pundit, David Axelrod, said on CNN last night that Warren "will be stepping up there tonight as a front-runner, if not the front-runner" and striving to cement that position. And in an aggressive copycat model, Warren has been tweeting regularly, her latest: "My campaign doesn't take money from federal lobbyists or PACs, and I don't take contributions over $200 from fossil fuel or big pharma executives. No call time with rich donors or giving them special access. And when I'm the Democratic nominee, that won't change."

Playing point guard on the anti-corruption plank, she added: "I'll start by ending the corrupt system of money for influence. We must pass a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's disastrous decisions in Citizens United and Buckley v. Valeo. But we can and must also pass new campaign finance laws to shut down corruption." What Hilary Clinton couldn't manage, Warren may well achieve if she secures the Dem nomination, topple the incumbent.

Registered Republicans who spoke to here say that the boss man (Trump) will pull through such is his magnetism with working-class WASP Americans. Things are moving with great alacrity in the Washington swamp with Congress returning from a two-week recess and Democrats are set to accelerate their impeachment inquiry. CNN reported that Defense Secretary Mark Esper, acting director of Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought and Vice President Mike Pence face deadlines on subpoenas requesting documents Tuesday. US State Department Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent is expected to be interviewed too.

Trump may be missing a trick as the pace at which things are unravelling and while publicly he retains his composure, phantoms may be playing pranks inside the corridors of his mind. So he did what comes naturally to him, in his ground of tactical warfare, the twitter guerrilla hit back through a series of tweets.

"Hunter Biden was really bad on @GMA. Now Sleepy Joe has real problems! Reminds me of Crooked Hillary and her 33,000 deleted Emails, not recoverable! ... Democrats are allowing no transparency at the Witch Hunt hearings. If Republicans ever did this they would be excoriated by the Fake News. Let the facts come out from the charade of people, most of whom I do not know, they are interviewing for 9 hours each, not selective leaks."

Disruptive as always, he targeted various people through his combat technique. "Big scandal at @ABC News. They got caught using really gruesome FAKE footage of the Turks bombing in Syria. A real disgrace. Tomorrow they will ask softball questions to Sleepy Joe Biden's son, Hunter, like why did Ukraine & China pay you millions when you knew nothing? Payoff?"
