Indian expat killed in Dubai accident

An Indian expat was killed and another injured in a road accident in Dubai after the vehicle they were travelling in hit a truck, a media report said.

Dubai, March 7 An Indian expat was killed and another injured in a road accident in Dubai after the vehicle they were travelling in hit a truck, a media report said.

An Indian social worker told the Gulf News that the two men, who were based in Abu Dhabi, had come to Dubai on Friday to buy fish which they supplied to groceries.

The accident took place when they were returning to Abu Dhabi, he said.

The victim was identified as Muhammed Savad, 19, from Mallappuram, Kerala.
