Toronto Mass Shooting: 12 Injured During Opening Night of Piper Arms Pub in Canada; Suspect Still at Large

More than 12 people were injured in a mass shooting on the opening night of a Piper Arms Pub on Friday night (Canada local time), March 7. Authorities are actively searching for the shooter. Toronto police are investigating a shooting in Scarborough. According to the Hindustan Times report, the firing incident occurred near Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive at around 10.30 pm.

Toronto has seen a surge in shootings, including a major bust in November 2024 when 23 people were arrested after a shootout outside a recording studio.

Law enforcement agency rushed to the scene after receiving the information and cordoned off the area. The injured people in the incident were rushed to the hospital for their treatment. Police confirmed that the suspect remains at large, and a search is underway to locate the individual responsible.
