The United States Food and Drug Administration has approved the corona vaccine for children aged 12 to 15 years. Pfizer-BioNTech has developed this corona vaccine. The vaccine will be given to children aged 12 to 15 years old. Vaccination for this age group could begin in the United States on Thursday.

In the last week of March, the companies claimed that the vaccine was 100 percent successful for children. The company said there were no "side effects" after the vaccine. FDA Acting Commissioner Janet Woodcock called the move a milestone in the fight against the corona pandemic.

"We want to reassure parents that the FDA has done a thorough study of all available data," he said. Importantly, the FDA had previously approved emergency vaccinations for children over the age of 16.

"This is a promising development in our fight against the virus," said President Joe Biden.

According to media reports, Cadila is working in India to vaccinate children over 12 years of age. The Ahmedabad-based company has also tested the third phase of the children's vaccine. If the vaccine is approved, it will be the fourth corona vaccine to be used for vaccination in India. Currently, Serum's Covishield, Bharat Biotech's Covaxin and Russia's Sputnik V are being used. But this use has started for citizens above 18 years of age.
