Worship Ganesha with Shodshopachara. If worship is not possible with Shodshopachara method, worship Ganesha with Panchopachara. Abhishek the idol of Ganesha with pure water. If Atharvashirsha is recited while performing abhishek, then repeat it 21 times, otherwise chant the mantra ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ 108 times. After this, flowers should be offered. Offer incense, lamps, and nevaidaya and recite the names of Ganesha. Make sure to offer laddus and modak to Ganesha. Perform the aarti of Ganesha and offer namaskar with your heart.

Offer Durva and Jaswandi flowers

On Sankashta Chaturthi, we fast all day and break the fast after the moon rises at night after taking a view of the moon, but the scriptures say that the fast of Vinayak Chaturthi should be observed both times like the Ekadashi fast and break it the next day. If possible, one should definitely go to the Ganesha temple and have darshan of Bappa. Also, one should perform rituals according to one's own family religion, customs, and traditions. Often, it is not possible to perform the fast worship even if one has the desire in mind. At such times, one should definitely offer a Durva pair to Ganapati Bappa. On this day, if 21 Durva pairs are offered, Ganapati becomes pleased. It is said that it bestows happiness, prosperity, and wisdom. It is said that it is believed that without offering Durva, the worship of Ganapati Bappa is not complete and the merit of worship is not attained. Jaswandi flowers, which are dear to Ganapati, should be offered. It is said that by doing this, Lord Ganesha is pleased and bestows blessings.
