Akola Shocker: 60-Year-Old Man Allegedly Rapes 10-Year-Old Girl in Patur Taluka; Accused Absconding

A shocking incident has unfolded in the Akola district of Maharashtra. In a village under Channi Police Station in Patur taluka, a 60-year-old neighbour allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl repeatedly over four to five days, according to the ABP Majha report.

The incident allegedly occurred after the minor girl's parents left for agricultural work in the fields, according to local media. The victim, initially afraid, kept silent and told no one at home.

On Tuesday, May 5, the victim narrated the horror to her parents, who promptly filed a complaint with Channi Police. A case has been registered against the accused, who is currently absconding. Three teams from the Akola police have launched a search for him.
