Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Satav's (46) health has deteriorated once again. He has been undergoing treatment at Jehangir Hospital in Pune for the past few days. A few days ago, Satav's corona test came back negative. However, his condition has deteriorated again due to pneumonia. Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat visited Jehangir Hospital today and inquired about Satav's condition

Speaking to media later, Thorat said, "I have not discussed the matter with the doctor yet. But Varsha Gaikwad is still here. She has discussed with the doctor. Satav was coming back to normal. He i experiencing pain again. But he'll get better soon. "

Rajiv Satav had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 22 and was on ventilator support at a private hospital in Pune city after his health deteriorated.

While his health was improving, Satav experienced some pain yesterday. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has been on leave since yesterday and personally keeping a watch on his condition.  Thorat said Satav's body was responding to treatment.
