COVID-19: Maharashtra tally 116; four more test coronavirus positive

Total number of positive Coronavirus cases in Maharashtra rises to 116; four more test coronavirus positive. The latest cases are from Mumbai, officials said. The four are being treated at the municipal Kasturba Hospital in the city, the officials said.

Maharashtra has been the worst hit state by Covid-19. The state has got the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India so far. 

The Government of Maharashtra has set up a dedicated WhatsApp helpline "COVID Helpline Maharashtra" that people can message on and stay updated about COVID-19 facts and latest guidance.

The message shared by the Chief Minister’s office said,"Please send "Hi" to +91-2026127394 to initiate your query on the helpline."

Amid lockdown in most parts of India to deal with novel coronavirus threat, the Covid-19 tally is 562. 

On Tuesday evening, PM Modi urged people not to step out of their homes during these trying times. PM Modi has declared a total lockdown for 21 days to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
