The 12th board exam in Maharashtra will be canceled on the backdrop of Corona. This was discussed at a cabinet meeting held today. An official announcement will be made tomorrow, official sources said.

This year's CBSE 12th exam has also been canceled due to covid. Following this, the Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh governments have decided to cancel the 12th board exams in the state. After this, other states including Maharashtra are likely to decide to cancel the exam.

State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that issues like corona, rain etc. were considered. The proposal was made to the Center. Their decision is welcomed. A proposal has been submitted to the Disaster Management Department, a decision will be taken after we receive a response. The health of the students is important.

Allegations have been leveled at the ruling and opposition parties over the 12th exam. The state government was against taking the exam. The BJP leaders, on the other hand, insisted that the students would be harmed. However, the cancellation of the CBSE exam by the central government has now cleared the way for the state government. The state cabinet has agreed to cancel the Class XII examination. The decision will be communicated to the High Court once the Disaster Management Department is sealed.
