Ladki Bahin Yojana Instalment Update: March and April Payments Pending, Cabinet Decision Expected Today
The Maharashtra government has yet to release instalments of March and April for women beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme, even as the deadline for the mandatory e-KYC process expired on April 30, with verification of some cases post wrong classification still underway.
The last instalment was received in February. With three months having passed since then, many beneficiaries are now asking about the pending instalments for March, April and May.
Cabinet Decision
The deadline for completing e-KYC formalities ended on April 30, and the process of transferring pending installments likely to begin soon. According to reports quoting sources, the Rs 1,500 will be transferred within the next two days. A final decision is likely to be taken during the state cabinet meeting scheduled for today, May 5.
