More than 14 lakh students who appeared for the Maharashtra Board Class 12 examinations have received an important update regarding their results. A notification reading “Class 12th Result 2026 Coming Soon” has started appearing on the official DigiLocker website, indicating that the result declaration process has reached its final stage. Typically, such messages are displayed shortly before the announcement as part of technical verification and system readiness checks. This development has increased anticipation among students and parents, suggesting that the board is preparing to release the results soon after completing all necessary backend procedures and validations.

According to various sources and reports, the Maharashtra HSC result is expected to be declared in the first or second week of May. Some estimates suggest that the results could be announced between May 13 and May 25. Traditionally, the board releases results online around 1:00 PM. Once declared, students will be able to check their scores on official websites such as mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, results.digilocker.gov.in, and mahahsscboard.in. To access their results, students must keep their hall ticket seat number and their mother’s name, as mentioned in the application form, ready for verification.

The Maharashtra Board will release results for all streams—Science, Commerce, Arts, and vocational courses—simultaneously. Last year, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 97.35%, outperforming other streams. This year as well, there are expectations that the overall pass percentage may see a rise, although official confirmation will only be available once the results are declared. Students across streams are eagerly awaiting the announcement, as these results play a crucial role in determining their future academic and career paths.
