Maharashtra: Parbhani Sees Two Fire Incidents in Hours; Fire Department Swiftly Responds
Parbhani: Two separate fire incidents reported in city on Saturday May 2nd 2026 creating significant commotion and a flurry of activity within the administrative machinery. The first incident took place near the Markaz Mosque in the city's Apna Corner area, while the second incident was reported in the Dattanagar locality along Jintur Road.
A fire suddenly broke out around 12:00 PM in a closed warehouse located in the Apna Corner area. The blaze sent massive plumes of smoke billowing across the locality, creating an atmosphere of panic for a brief period. Deputy Mayor Ganesh Deshmukh immediately alerted the Fire Department about the incident. Fire Officer Deepak Kanode and his team rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control within a short time; however, various types of materials stored inside the warehouse were reduced to ashes in the blaze.
Stationary Tanker Catches Fire
The second incident occurred at 4:00 PM in the Dattanagar area on Jintur Road. Here, a stationary tanker which was used for transporting bitumen suddenly burst into flames. A team from the Fire Department, including Madan Jadhav and Inayat Ali, worked to extinguish the fire. The administration breathed a sigh of relief as there was no loss of life reported in either of these two incidents.
