Nagpur Horror: 21-Year-Old Accused of Raping Stepmother, Victim Four Months Pregnant

A heinous act of crime reported in Nagpur where a 21-year-old college student has been accused of raping his 26-year-old stepmother, harboring resentment over his father's second marriage. Police have confirmed that, as a result of this sexual assault, the victim is now four months pregnant. In connection with this case, the Nagpur Police have arrested the accused youth, Akshat Srivastava.

According to reports, the 26-year-old victim in this case met 55-year-old Vikas Srivastava was manager at a private bank in 2024 while she was searching for employment. What began as a professional acquaintance eventually blossomed into a friendship, leading the two to decide to get married.

Vikas Srivastava's 21-year-old son, Akshat, was furious over his father's decision to remarry. He had vehemently opposed his father's second marriage. The complaint filed in this matter alleges that it was out of this very anger and hatred that he sexually assaulted his stepmother.

According to the victim's complaint, she became four months pregnant following the assault. Upon realizing this fact, she immediately approached the police and lodged a formal complaint. Recognizing the gravity of the incident, the police took swift action and arrested the accused, Akshat Srivastava.
