Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal are demanding the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb, on the contrary,  Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Of RSS said that Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb is not relevant. Speaking about the riots he said that any kind of violence is not good for the society. He also refused to comment on PM Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Nagpur. He made these remarks while addressing a press conference on March 19.

He said, "I think it is not relevant," when he was questioned about Aurangzeb’s relevance in today's world at the press conference.

Speaking about Nagpur Violence that happened a few meters away from the RSS headquarters, he said, “Violence of any kind is not good for the health of society, and I think the police have taken cognizance of it and so they will go into the details.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting the RSS Headquarters in Nagpur on March 30. This will be PM Modi's first visit to RSS headquarters after he became the prime minister in 2014. When Sunil Ambekar was asked about PM Modi’s upcoming visit to Nagpur, he said, “I won't comment on that, but when Atal Ji was the Prime Minister, he had visited Reshimbagh. You can check the records. So, I think it's not right to overthink this.”

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for a building extension at Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute & Research Centre in Nagpur on March 30. This institute is backed by the RSS.
