A tragic incident reported in Parbhani's Dudhgaon Shivara on the Sonpeth-Pathri road were a huge fire suddenly broke out in a running car on the busy road. As soon as the sound of an explosion was heard in the car, the driver jumped out, taking precautions, thus averting a major disaster. However, the car was completely burnt down in the fire.
According to the information received, Syed Zakir from Vita Khurd was coming from Vita to Sonpeth in his car (MH-12-PQ-0441). When his car reached Dudhgaon Shivara around 3 pm, suddenly there was a loud explosion in the car. Syed Zakir stopped the car without a moment's delay and got out.
The car burst into flames moments after he exited. Syed Sadiq and Syed Mateen, working nearby, rushed to extinguish the blaze. They managed to control the fire, but only the car's frame remained.
Fortunately no one was injured, though the roadside fire briefly panicked motorists.
