Jalna: In a tragic road accident, two people sustained serious injuries and four others suffered minor injuries after a speeding private bus violently rammed into a tempo from behind. This incident occurred on Wednesday morning in the vicinity of Keli Gavhan Pangri (at Channel Marker 377.4) on the Nagpur corridor of the Samruddhi Expressway, while attempting to overtake. As per the information bus was carrying 49 passengers.
The bus driver, Ankit Kushwah , and nine-year-old Shaurya Pawan Singh were seriously injured in the collision. Megha Laxman Pandey, Khushi Chandramohan Pandey, Neelam Pawan Singh and four-year-old Purvi Pawan Singh sustained minor injuries. The 'Harsh Travels' bus was en route from Nagpur when the driver attempted to overtake an Eicher tempo .
However, due to a loss of control over the vehicle's speed, the bus crashed into the rear of the Eicher tempo with tremendous force. As a result, two individuals were seriously injured, while four others sustained minor injuries. The remaining 43 passengers escaped the violent collision unhurt. The severity of the accident was such that the front section of the bus was completely mangled.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Highway Police Sub-Inspector A.K. Kale, along with Constables Vasant Rathod, Kedare, and Jaylal Sundarde assisted by personnel from the MSF (Maharashtra Security Force) immediately rushed to the scene to provide aid to the injured. The accident has been officially recorded at the Chandanzira Police Station.
