Solapur ZP Election Results 2026: BJP's Sanskriti Satpute, Adinath Deshmukh, Rashmi Bagal and Prithviraj Sawant Secure Key Wins

Ajit Pawar's National Congress Party (NCP) MLA Uttam Jankar has faced a major setback in Malshiras taluka of Solapur district as his son, Jeevan Jankar, has lost the Zilla Parishad election 2026. Former Malshiras MLA Ram Satpute’s wife, Sanskriti Satpute, defeated Jankar by 1,100 votes. Uttam Jankar had defeated Ram Satpute in last year’s Assembly elections, now defeat was a response to that rivalry. Several surprising results have emerged from the Solapur Zilla Parishad.

Sharad Pawar’s NCP MP Dhairyasheel Mohite Patil, considered influential in Malshiras-Akluj, also suffered a setback. The BJP defeated Mohite Patil in the Gursale Panchayat Samiti constituency, where BJP’s Balasaheb Shelke won. Arjunsinh Mohite Patil suffered a crushing defeat in the Panchayat Samiti as well.

In Pandharpur, Sharad Pawar group MLA Abhijit Patil also faced a major blow. BJP’s Adinath Deshmukh won from the Karakamba Zilla Parishad group, after which BJP workers celebrated with a procession.

BJP’s Rashmi Bagal has won from the Pande Zilla Parishad group in Karmala. She is seen as a strong contender for the Zilla Parishad President’s post. Rani Mane of the Sharad Pawar group suffered a surprising defeat. BJP’s Prithviraj Sawant won from the Manegaon Zilla Parishad group in Madha taluka.
