Actor Sonu Sood has been responding to dozens to requests on Twitter from people stranded in different parts of the country amid the lockdown and helping them reach their homes. 

Pictures of Sood waving at the labourers seated in buses has been winning hearts on the internet since early May.

Hundreds of thousands of migrant labourers have been stranded in urban areas with no livelihood and very little to survive during the COVID-19-induced lockdown forcing them to take to the path of their native places on foot.

Sonu Sood has become a hero in real life due to his work during the lockdown period.Many migrants are appreciating his work by thanking him and making paintings, some are making videos, some are writing poems, some are singing songs to thank him. 

However, one fan who reached his village because of Sonu, the migrant has thanked the actor in a very unique and special way. 

The migrant has placed Sonu Sood's photo besides Sai Baba idol at his home. The man also performed special aarti for Sonu. The young man has shared this video of Aarti on Twitter.
