Yavatmal Tragedy: Father, 6-Month-Old Infant Died in Car–Truck Collision in Ghatanji

A tragic accident reported in Yavatmal were a car collided with a borewell truck. In this incident a six-month-old infant and her father lost their lives, while her mother sustained severe injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 14 around 8:00 PM on the Pandharkawada road, near the Ashram School close to Sakhara (Khurd). This accident has left the entire family devastated.

The deceased have been identified as Hansika Godgulla (six months old) and Saikiran Godgulla . Anushka Saikiran Godgulla sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at the Government Hospital in Yavatmal.

The Godgulla family, hailing from Adilabad, had visited Siddharth Ramteke in Ghatanji on Tuesday as guests. They began their return journey that night in a four-wheeled vehicle . Saikiran Godgulla was driving the car. Near Sakhara village, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the car to crash into a borewell truck that was approaching from the direction of Pandharkawada.
