Andheri East Election Results 2026: Shiv Sena UBT's Lona Rawat Wins in Ward 73, Defeats Shiv Sena Leader Dipti Waikar Potnis

Lona Rawat from Shiv Sena UBT won in ward number 73. She defeated Shiv Sena leader and the daughter of the sitting Bharatiya Janata Party, Ravindra Waikar, Dipti Waikar Potnis, in this election in the Andheri East area. Lona Rawat’s supporters celebrated her victory with grand celebrations after her victory was announced at the Gundavali Mumbai Public School, a counting centre in Andheri. Shiv Sena UBT has won 60 seats in Mumbai out of the 227 seats so far (Update till 2:30 pm). Other prominent winners from Shiv Sena UBT include Sunil More (ward 123), Milind Vaidya (ward 182), Hemangi Varlikar (ward 193), and Ramakant Rahate (ward 208).

Other candidates from ward no 73 are Adv. Dipti Waikar Potnis from Shiv Sena (SS), Komal Kundan Waghmare from Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Sneha Manoj Jadhav from Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), Smita Suresh Gangan, Suhasini Baban More, and Snehali Sitaram Wadekar fought Independent.

According to recent updates, the Mahayuti Alliance won 118 seats in Mumbai. The alliance of Shiv Sena UBT, Maharashtra Navinirman Sena, and Nationalist Congress Party (SP) bagged 69 seats. Congress won 12 seats, and the Nationalist Congress Party (AP) won 3 seats in Mumbai (Update till 2:30 pm).
