Mumbai police is providing new development regarding Baba Siddique Murder case. Recently they revealed that shooters who killed NCP politician watched YouTube videos to practice. According to NDTV report, He learned to operate a pistol by watching videos. Communicate with each other on Snapchat and Instagram. A team of Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested four people in connection with Siddiqui's murder.
Gurmel Singh, Dharmaraj Kashyap, and Shiv Kumar, the shooters who attempted to kill Baba Siddiqui on Saturday, fired six rounds, resulting in Siddiqui's death while being transported to the hospital. Two individuals were detained following the shooting. The investigation revealed that one of the shooters learned to operate a pistol by watching YouTube videos.
Praveen Lonkar was arrested in Pune.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has recorded statements from over 15 witnesses in this case. The police arrested another suspect, Harish Kumar Nishad, bringing the total number of arrests to four. Authorities allege that Harish provided money and weapons to the shooters. Previously, Praveen Lonkar, Shubham's brother, was apprehended in Pune.

The Lonkar brothers allegedly paid Rs 2 lakh to shooters Gurmel Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap, with the funds transferred via Harish. The third shooter, Shiva Kumar, remains at large, and a search is ongoing. Harish and Dharmaraj are from the same village as another fugitive, Gautam.
The conspiracy to murder Baba Siddiqui was reportedly planned three months ago, with the suspects visiting his residence multiple times without weapons. The plot originated in Pune, where the shooters received a photograph of Siddiqui as their target. They conducted reconnaissance of his house and office 25 days prior to the incident. Investigators found that the suspects used Snapchat for communication and Instagram for calls.
