"With reference to the Hon.M.C.'s meeting held on 27.02.2025, it has been directed that no new roads shall be excavated for concretisation after 22nd Feb 2025, and it is strictly instructed that all such road works and allied works shall be completed on or before 31st May 2025 to avoid inconvenience to the commuters and public in large. These directions are issued with the sanction of AMC (P) and Hon.M.C.," a circular issued by BMC reads.

As per the instructions issued by BMC following a meeting on February 27, 2025, any existing road excavation projects must be completed by May 31, 2025. Citizens are encouraged to report any new road digging activities to their local ward offices to ensure compliance with the new regulations.
