President Droupadi Murmu will visit Mumbai on February 24 to begin her four-day multi-state visit. Her four-day tour is about a national public health initiative. With the first stop being Mumbai, the city becomes the centre of this major event. President Murmu will inaugurate the nationwide campaign ‘Saving Lives and Building a Healthier Bharat’ at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai. PD Hinduja Hospital is organising this initiative. It aims to promote healthcare measures, early diagnosis, and community-based health awareness across India. Many senior officials, medical professionals, and public health stakeholders are expected to attend this event.
After Mumbai’s event, she will visit Nagpur to attend the state-level launch of ‘Golden Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust.’ The Brahma Kumaris in Nagpur have organised this initiative, highlighting social harmony and collective progress.
On February 26, President Murmu will visit Jharkhand. She will participate in the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the Dri Jagannath Temple in Jamshedpur. She will also visit Manipal TATA Medical College. At the college, she will interact with students and discuss importance of medical education and youth engagement.
After Jharkhand, she will visit Rajasthan on February 29. There she will attend Ex Vayushakti at Pokharan, a major Indian Air Force exercise showcasing aerial combat capabilities and indigenous defence strength.
