Mumbai Shocker: 4-Year-Old Boy Kidnapped and Murdered in Kandivali; Police Probe On

A shocking case of kidnapping and brutal murder of a 4-year-old boy has come to light in Kandivali West, Mumbai. As soon as the incident was reported, the Kandivali Police launched an investigation into the matter.

 

According to the police, a man on a bicycle kidnapped the child and later strangled him to death. After committing the crime, the accused returned to the spot and fled, leaving the child's body just 30 meters away from the victim's family’s sleeping area.

 

 

 

Police sources revealed that CCTV footage from the area has helped identify the suspect, and a search operation has been launched to track him down.

 

The deceased child lived with his parents in Kandivali East. A day before the incident, he had visited his grandmother’s house in Iraniwadi, Kandivali West. At the time of the kidnapping, the child was sleeping next to his grandmother.

 

 

 

The horrific incident took place between March 21 and 22 at around 2 AM. An unidentified man arrived on a bicycle, abducted the sleeping child, and fled. Within half an hour, the suspect returned and left the child’s body at a construction site near his grandparents’ house before escaping.

 

 

 

A preliminary medical report confirmed that the child was strangled to death. Police have secured CCTV footage from the area, capturing images of the accused. Multiple teams have been deployed to trace the suspect.

 

The motive behind the crime remains unclear, and further investigations are underway.
