Mumbai Traffic Update: Slippery Road in Bhandup After Oil and Drainage Spill Near Pumping Station Signal
Oil and drainage slurry spilled onto a busy road near the Bhandup Pumping Station signal during ongoing sewerage work carried out by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) posted the Mumbai News page on X. Commuters are advised to drive safely on this path as there is a high risk of an accident. The oily residue has made the road extremely slippery, increasing the chances of accidents, particularly for two-wheeler riders. Motorists have been advised to reduce speed and maintain caution while passing through the stretch. Civic officials and traffic authorities have urged drivers to stay alert, follow lane discipline, and cooperate with on-ground personnel managing the situation to avoid mishaps during peak travel hours.
