Mumbai Weather Update: IMD Warns of Heatwave Conditions in Mumbai, Thane and Raigad Today
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning in isolated pockets of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), including in Thane and Raigad, on Monday, March 23. While hot and humid conditions in isolated pockets of Palghar and Ratnagiri.
The IMD's Colaba observatory reported a maximum temperature of 34.2 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 62 on Sunday. On Monday, the weather department expected a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius and clear sky today.

Thunderstorm and Lightning in Maharashtra Districts
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall & gusty winds (30-40kmph) at isolated places of South Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada, including in Satara, Sangli, Sholapur, Nanded, Latur and Dharashiv on Monday.

The maximum temperature in the state is continuously increasing. On Sunday (March 22), Washim recorded the highest temperature in the state at 36.6 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature was recorded at Dhule Agricultural College and Niphad Wheat Research Centre at 12 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius in Ganganagar in Rajasthan, while the lowest temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana in Punjab.
