Nagpur, April 16

The Nusiance Detection Squad (NDS) of NMC has been taking action against organisations and establishments flouting Covid norms. NDS fined 17 establishments collecting a total penalty of Rs1.45 lakh. A total of 63 establishments were inspected in 10 zones. A fine of Rs15,000 was slapped on Tirpude Hospital in Aasi Nagar zone, as the hospital was not carrying out proper disposal of bio-medical waste. NDS focused on auto part dealers on Friday. NDS fined one shop in Laxmi Nagar, four in Dharampeth, two in Dhantoli, five in Gandhibagh, one in Satranjipura, one in Lakadgan, one in Aasi Nagar and two shops in Mangalwari zones.
