Nagpur, May 15
The number of patients taking second does of vaccine has gone up. On Saturday 14,468 doses were administered, out of which 7,523 were for second dose and 6,945 were for the first dose. It was decided that all citizens above 45 years will be given the vaccine. Vaccination for 45 plus to remain open on Sunday. The vaccination process gathered steam, as supply met demand. 2,944 citizens above 60 years of age took second dose of vaccine. On the other hand the State government has given a break to the vaccination of 18-44 age group. Vaccination is going on across 16 NMC centres. Nagpur district received 2,100 doses. These are Covaxin doses.
