Nagpur, May 22

The Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) of NMC took action against 25 establishments on Saturday and recovered a fine of `2.8 lakh. The team inspected 50 establishments and shops.

A establishment under Laxminagar zone was inspected and a fine of `15,000 was imposed. After inspecting four establishments under Dharampeth zone, `35,000, Hanumannagar team inspected two shops and recovered `10,000, Dhantoli team inspected 10 shops and recovered `15,000. Establishments at Nehru Nagar were inspected and a fine of `25,000, was recovered. Seven establishments at Gandhibagh zone, `35,000 and four establishments at Sataranjipura zoone were was inspected and a fine of `15,000 was collected respectively. Lakdaganj team inspected four shops and recovered `23,000, Aasi Nagar team inspected 11 establishments and recovered `15,000 while Mangalwari zone team inspected four establishments and recovered `25,000.

The action was being taken by the divisional search teams under the guidance of NDS chief Veersen Tambe.Lokmat News Network
