Nagpur, Dec 22

The Nuisance Detection Squad (NDS) of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has fined 131 citizens for not wearing mask and collected a fine of `65,500. All of them were given mask. NDS has fined 24,859 people till date and collected around `1.88 crore.

The citizens are roaming without mask in public area, which is dangerous and hence the NDS has been acting tough with them. The NDS fined people from various zones. Laxmi Nagar 13, Dharampeth 30, Hanuman Nagar 9, Dhantoli 9, Nehur Nagar 12, Gandhibagh 10, Satranjipur 10, Laakadganj 7, Aashi Nagar 15, Mangalwari 12, and NMC headquarters 4. The NDS is led by Veersen Tambe and irresponsible citizens are fined for not wearing mask.
