Since corporator Pramod Tabhane has become NMC sports committee chairman he has decided to develop one playground each in Nagpur assembly constituencies.
Under this initiative Tabhane along with Standing Committee chairman Prakash Bhoyar, deputy chairman of sports committee Lakhan Yerawar visited the ground at Mire Layout. Corporator of the area Usha Pilot urged the chairman to make green gym equipment available. Leader of opposition in NMC Tanaji Wanve expressed the need of basic facilities like toilet, changing room, bathroom, water connection at the play ground. Corporator Divya Dhurade urged the authorities to level the ground. Tabhane assured to provide all the basid facilities at the playground and asked the concerned authorities to look into the matter. Vijay Gawhane, Manoj Wandhre, Sanjay Mahale, NMC Sports Officer Piyush Ambulkar and others were present on the occasion.
